About
Engineering manager by day. A portfolio the rest of the time.
I’m Johnson Suna. I manage engineers for a living, and I spend the hours around that building and running eldhocompany — 8 software products across home services, education, family planning and online retail.
Why a portfolio, not a startup
Most of these markets are too small to interest a funded company and too annoying to serve by hand. A homeowner looking for someone to install an EV charger, a parent trying to keep a teenager on a four-year college plan, a reseller checking whether a pallet is worth buying — these are real problems with narrow audiences.
One product in that shape is a hobby. 7 of them, sharing one pipeline, is a business. The constraint was never ideas; it was the cost of operating many small things at once.
What changed
The portfolio runs on a multi-agent pipeline on Cloudflare. Named agents handle the work that used to make a portfolio impossible for one person: holding every repository to the same compliance baseline, sweeping sites for defects and filing them, tracking cost and profit per venture, drafting content, and writing the fixes as pull requests.
The discipline that makes it safe is boring and non-negotiable: every agent proposes, a human approves, and nothing reaches a customer unreviewed. I would rather ship slower than find out from a customer that an agent was wrong.
What I’m interested in
Lead buyers in home services, distribution partners for digital products, and people who invest in or acquire small software portfolios. If you run a contractor network and want exclusive territory, that conversation is a short one.
